CTA (call to action)
A CTA is a part of a website or advertisement that prompts the user to take a specific action, such as “press this button” or “click here.” For example, a “Buy Now” button on a product page or a “Download for Free” button on a document request page are CTAs, which are used to clearly indicate the next action to the user and encourage the desired action (purchase, inquiry, etc.).
