DM (Mailing)
Direct mail (DM) is a way for companies to deliver information about their products and services directly to customers by mail. By sending information about a store’s sales, new products, catalogs, etc. by mail, a company approaches its customers. Because it is delivered directly to the customer’s hand, unlike mail, the customer can physically hold the product in his or her hand to check it out; DM is often used when a company wants the customer to see a product in person or to inform him or her of a special campaign.
